Dareen Khalifa is Special Consultant at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue and former deputy director of The Day After.. She holds an MA in Human Rights and Public Policy from University College London. In 2011, Dareen was a Fellow at Human Rights First, Washington DC. She has contributed to several human rights reports, including the Global Integrity Anti-Corruption report on Egypt, “For a Nation without Torture”, and the Verité International Annual Report on Labor Rights. Some of her publications include a revision of the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, and an insight on local reconciliation agreements in Syria.
